You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

ShoreLife exists to help people find and follow Jesus Christ.  While each person’s faith is personal, God gives us opportunities to act and show what we believe in our hearts.  As believer’s in Christ we are given water baptism and regular communion to proclaim our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our hope in His return.  But what does a follower of Jesus Christ look like?  Fruits of the Spirit?  Church attendance?  Missionary?  Servant?  This fall we are going to look at our L.I.G.H.T.  As followers of Jesus Christ we are called to be a light to the world.  Using LIGHT as an acronym we want to create a Biblical picture of what it means to be a follower of Christ: Living in Community, Investing in Kingdom, Growing in Christlikeness, Helping through Gifting, Telling and Inviting.
