After nearly 8 months of Considering God, His wisdom, power, gifting, honor and salvation, we are finishing up this year-long focus by Considering God’s Way of Life for us. The Sermon on the Mount contains some of the most famous teachings of Christ, but it is not the familiarity that brings it’s power. In this sermon Jesus lays out His heart for His law. This does not result so much in what we are to do, but more, who we are called to be. This spring we will consider the life God calls us to live and the blessing this life brings.
