ShoreLife Church has enjoyed partnering with Diane Moss as we see the Gospel of Christ spread through word and acts of love throughout the ends of the earth.

Diane joined InnerCHANGE—CRM’s Christian Order among the poor—in 1998. This was after earning a BS in Business Management and working in Admin/Accounting for 18 years. Growing up in the South in the 1960’s then moving to Los Angeles just before the L.A. Riots, Diane has a passion for the reconciliation of those profoundly broken by evil. She believes this can only be accomplished through fervent prayer.

InnerCHANGE is described on their website as: “Communities of missionaries living in poor, marginalized neighborhoods around the world – places most people want to avoid or ignore. We seek to live out the good news of Jesus among the poor, both with words and deeds.  As we listen to people, as we interact and reflect on Scripture together, collaborative neighborhood action emerges. Trust slowly develops and people open themselves to us and to God. We journey with people and, little by little, we see God at work – both in the poor and in ourselves. Our desire in InnerCHANGE is to see poor people come together as communities of followers of Christ in each place where we are present.”

Henri Nouwen wrote:
“But Jesus walked, and still does.  Jesus walks from village to village, and as He walks, He meets the poor.  He meets beggars, the blind, the sick, the mourners and those who have lost hope.  He remains very close to the earth…  He listens attentively to those with whom He walks, and speaks to them with authority of a true companion on the road.  Jesus is deeply connected to the earth on which He walks…
The poor who walk on the roads of this world and through the deserts and rough places of the world invite me to remain close to the earth.  Sometimes I look up to the clouds and daydream about a better world. But I know my dreams will never bear fruit unless I keep turning my eyes again and again back to the earth and to all those people walking their long, fatiguing walks and inviting me to join them.”

After serving the poor in Cambodia and Romania Diane now serves as the Director of Operations for 14 InnerCHANGE teams serving throughout the world. This means she is serving the teams by overseeing areas of Human Resources and all things financial: documentation, tracking, reporting, setting up, monitoring, etc. This is a tremendous blessing to the teams freeing them to serve the people they are living amongst. Diane also continues to work one on one with IC Missionaries, mentoring them in the areas of support raising, field preparation and culture and conflict resolution.
